Milton's Pizza & Pasta

Took parents and kids here, was very happy with the food and cost. Recommended more

I eat at Milton's weekly, and think it's very good, inexpensive, Italian-Ameican Food. They have a lunch buffet every day of the week with pizza, salad, pasta, vegies & more. Each week night they have a special - Wed & Sunday are the best - free salad bar with a pasta entre'. Monday is Wing night, Tuesday is $2 off pizza, Thursday is $2 off strumboli, I dunno what they do friday, and I think Saturday is half price desert with an entre.\r \r If Jenifer went to Milton's & there was nobody there & it was slow, I have to think she was at the Wakefield location, or it was after 9:00 PM. more

We came with a group of friends who said that Milton's had fast service and excellent food. We found both to be untrue. We walked in and saw hardly anyone in the restaurant which made us wonder if something was wrong. We soon found out the probably causes. The service was INCREDIBLY slow when the restaurant was pretty much empty besides our group (I only saw 2 other customers besides our group). This should have meant that food would come out incredibly quickly. However, half of our group's order was lost before it even got to the kitchen and it took the staff 20 minutes to catch this. The first half of the group was done eating by the time the second half's food came out...ironically, the dish that took the longest to come out was spaghetti! Prices were WAY too high (at least $2-3 higher per entree than comparable restaurants and not worth it at all). Additionally, the food was nothing to shout about: the baklava was obviously frozen, not fresh; the garlic bread was lacking flavor big time; the chicken and rice soup had no distinguishable flavors except celery and pepper. We are not sure how Milton's was supposedly voted the ""best restaurant in the Triangle"" on citysearch.com, as stated on the company's website. more

Milton's is a bit out of my way, but I try to get there any time I can. Don't miss the lunch buffet, unless you don't want to stuff yourself. The employees are always super polite. more

The customer service and professionalism of the staff at Milton's make every visit so comforting. I am always greeted by smiling faces and a warm hello. The buffet is a great treat during the day and all of the pasta dishes and pizzas make for a great dinner. I love their consistent money saving daily specials. I have never left Milton's unhappy and anything left than full. Great dinner or lunch nearby and for a great price with a wonderful staff. more

Milton's is ""THE PLACE TO BE"" the service can not be around. with the fast paced workers doing multiple jobs at once and still have a warm welcoming voice to treat you like family. Their all you can eat buffet can be the highlight of your day. With the BBQ ribs, fresh all you can eat salad bar, home made desserts, AMAZING pizza selection, and choice to get whatever you dont see and want. Its a experience you have to endeavor for yourself. and i PROMISE you will not leave without being 100% satisfied. its their goal more

I love Milton's. We have been eating there twice a month for 5 years. Fantastic staff and management team. I travel for a living and make Milton's my ""Honey, I am home"" stop for Friday dinner. more

The person (you can tell its the same person by the uneducated grammar and punctuation) writing how unfriendly the waitresses are to females must be an ex-employee. The people at Miltons are the friendliest around, and yes I am a female!\r The entire staff (hosttess, cooks, managers, waiter, etc.) is wonderful. The food is always so good. Please do not let the other negative comments fool you...this place is terrific!!! Pros: Salad bar is awesome! Cons: None. more

Our Family has been with Milton's since it has opened here in Wake Forest. The wait staff is awesome and extremely friendly with the kids!! The food is delicious and the buffet is the best! There is something for everyone! We have had receptions there as well as birthday parties! The staff is always very accomodating and friendly! My daughter loves their spaghetti and meatballs, where the rest of the family is all for their pizza and wings. You can't beat the price and their daily specials! If you want to go out with your family for a dinner and feel like you are at home Milton's is definitely the place to go! Pros: Excellent service and food!!! more

I love Milton's! I have to say that two of the best things are the marinara sauce and the alfredo sauce. They both always taste fresh and flavorful. My husband and kids agree too. Great place for dinner with family (very kid friendly) or lunch with friends. Lunch buffet is amazing, lots of choices for every taste. The lemon chicken and cheesy potatoes are my fav. We have attended a few sports banquets for the kids and the staff does a great job of taking care of everyone and making it easy and fun. While the atmosphere is good, the service and attitude excellent and the salad bar is better than I'd expect, two things keep me from going back to this restaurant -- the red and white sauces. Their alfredo is not very tasty to me. Their marinara is quite honestly my least favorite. It's basically a very chunky vegetable stew in tomato sauce. I'm sure some people like that sort of thing, but it's served with everything from the calzones to the spaghetti and I just don't like it.\r \r Otherwise it's a lovely place to eat and keeps attractively long hours. I have never been in a Miltons or written anything negative about the place or any other restaurant. I wish them well and wish this silliness would end. more

There is nothing Italian about the food, pizza is lousy and cooked in a greasy pan, salad bars are for cheap people that like iceberg lettuce and condiments out of a bag, nothing fresh or culinary about this place and the luch buffet is disgusting , try putting something healthy or better yet something fresh and clean in food. Try quality food than maybe people that care what they put into thier system will come back. Never again will i subject myself to cheap or quality, very disgusting. This was indeed the almost the best pizza, the crust was indeed the best. I enjoyed the promptness of the wait staff and the great amount of food that we recieved. The food was the best.. The price's are great.. And the buffet salad bar was outstanding. We are new to the area and found this by accident. Very generous on the ingrediants; no shortage. I am so pleased we found this. And the kids meals are only $2.99; you can't beat that. Do yourself a favor and try this place you won't be disappointed that you did. The new Milton's keeps the welcoming ambiance and consistantly good service we've come to expect from the Six Forks location. It felt just as homey and comfortable as we're used to. We love the buffet and the staff and are glad to have them close by! We'll still go to the Six Forks location to visit the staff there, but our two or three times a week habit will be served by the Wakefiled location now! more

Whoever said this was a sad excuse for Italian food must be CRAZY!!!! If you love italian food, great atmosphere and superb service, then Milton's is the best. We have been going faithfully about 1-2 times per week for like 4 years. We LOVE italian and we are so very thankful for Miltons!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't pay attention to the negative review!
