Housing Authority Management takes an adversarial view toward its tenants, who are for the most part elderly and/or disabled citizens.\r
\r
Yard waste is dumped on the premises, creating fire hazards.\r
Management and employees are favored with the prime parking spaces, leaving more distant, less-accessible and inadequate parking for rent-paying tenants who need it most.\r
\r
Employees are ""double-dipping"" -- one is deputy fire chief in Milton, moonlighting as maintenance worker at the Miller Ave. location, in addition to having his wife working part time there as well.\r
\r
The so-called ""Grievance Panel"" was assigned by the MHA, with absolutely NO INPUT from the tenants.\r
\r
Numerous other problems exist as well.\r
\r
Also, since my review appears to be the only one, and I have given a 1-star rating, how does the rating appear at 3 1/2 stars?\r
Pros: Affordable rents for those in need, for the most part.
Cons: Adversarial staff and management keep morale of tenants low!
