Miller's Ale House

It was an an awful dining experience. We will never go there again. Waitress was slow, distracted. I sent back a bad beer, it tasted like soap. Got a different brand, it was stale. My wife's crab cakes smelled strange. We told the waitress, she did nothing. She actually said ""I hope everything was enjoyable"" when she gave me the check. Unbelievable. there are too many good places in Brandon to waste time and money here. Pros: The only positive is that it's conveniently located Cons: Stale beer. Terrible food. Terrible service more

Ordered a sandwich, which was really good. All the sides were fresh. I sat at the bar, when some of the bartenders friends came in, it seemed like everybody else didn't even exsist. I had to eventually call the bartender over just to pay my bill. Just bad for service. It did affect the tip....ZERO. Pros: Sandwich was really good Cons: Bartender Service more

This place was terrible. This is the second time I have been to this place and both times were really bad. First of all, we ordered XX and both times it turns out the beer was expired, then we ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon and guess what, that beer is expired too. What worse is that they knew the beer was expired and served it to us anyway. We actually got our food and ate it before the waitress came with the 2nd pitcher of bad beer. The food wasn't that great either. I am never going there again. Bad service, bad food and worse bad beer. You have been warned. Cons: Served expired beer knowing to patrons more

My wife and I had never been to the Ale House before so we decided to give it a try. \r \r They have about 30 beers on tap, including my favorite, Newcastle Brown Ale, and a nice collection of mixed and tropical drinks.\r \r The menu offers a a good variety of foods to choose from, including soups, salads, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers, along with some nice deserts. \r \r Another thing I really appreciated was that there were no TVs or music blaring to prevent my wife and I from enjoying our conversation over dinner.\r \r The service was excellent and our waitress, Renee (sp??), was attentive and more than happy to tell us about the history and locations of the Miller Ale Houses. It was so nice to have someone waiting on the table that actually enjoyed speaking with and helping people and that was also so very positive and upbeat about the resturant that employed her.\r \r I highly recommend this place! It is a sort of like a sports or beach bar but with a nice touch of class.\r Pros: The Conch Chowder and Chicken Nachos are UNBELIEVABLE!!! Cons: The unpadded bench seats can be uncomfortable after a while. more

burgers at the ale house are huge and delicious. as a matter of fact, all the food there is great. i have tried many of the choices but i usually go back to the burger. the service there is friendly and fast. the food comes out hot and fresh. i love the ale house! more
