Have a 2006 Outlander that had a $1,200 timing belt replacement (water pump, belt, tensioner) done by Miller Brothers at scheduled 105,000 miles. Should be good till 209,000 miles but broke at 130,000 wrecking (interference) engine. Contacted Miller to see if they felt any ownership of this. Nope, their "million mile warranty" is non-transferable they say. Guess I should I should have had all their work redone when I bought the car used rather than reviewing its service records and trusting that critical scheduled service had been done right.
