This restaurant is mediocre at best. The food is okay, nothing too special. They do have some decent salads and I like their potato soup too. THe entrees seem bland and overpriced, although they do hav some good early evening specials that help in that regard. They have some excellent desserts. Overall, its not some place that I would recommend highly, but its not a horrible restaurant either. more

Post-ND football game steak 8/18/2005

This restaurant is only a few miles from the University of Notre Dame and is a great place to eat dinner after a home football game. No one seems to know about this hidden gem, so you can make reservations the week of the game—long after every place in South Bend and Mishawaka is booked solid. The Angus steaks are very good. That’s all I’ve ever tried since it was so good the first time! The prices are reasonable. more

Best steak around 8/11/2005

This is a resturant offers 100 percent certified angus beef, with that said they have the best steak ever. When you first walk in you feel as though you are in a fine dining resturant but it really is laid back and you can feel free to bring the kids here. They offer many differnt entrees, appetizers and awesome desserts. They have a huge wine list as well as a full bar. You even get sorbet in between the salad and main course. Come here to celebrate your birthday or anniversary or just for a romantic evening with your loved one. On weekends you may want to make a reservation just in case because it can get full fast. The prices may seem a little high but you get a lot for your dollar. more
