Most kennels we've been to are not this spacious or clean. We tried boarding our dog at several places over the years and this place is defiantly the winner. The pens have access to the outdoors, and nice cozy inside areas where the dogs can have some privacy, and the pens are quite large. There is a strong smell of disinfectant, so I know they've been cleaning the pens. The owner is the nicest lady and has always been very polite to us. She's very good with dogs and never forces herself on them, like some other kennels that we've tried. They also don't put your dog in with someone else's dog, something we've experienced before. None of the animals are sick, and they don't look lonely. Highly recommended. more

This kennel is very clean, considering it's filled with dogs, it smells very good. The dogs have access to the outdoors and the owners are very friendly. The animals are very well treated and always come back clean. The above comment must be someone who's mad for some weird reason, because we always have great service and everyone's really nice and helpful. more

We've left our dog here for years. He is always excited to go in and practically drags us in. The prices are great, you're not having to pay for those sofas and tvs that are meant to coddle anxious owners. Also, the large dog runs are about 4 times the size of other kennels that cost 3 times as much. We hope this place is around for a long time. more

I had a very poor experience with this place and I didn't even leave my dog there. My husband and I are new to the area and this kennel was by our home so we thought we'd give it a try. I made a reservation and showed up with my eighteen month old blue heeler who my husband and I think of as our first born. Well, I was greeted by a lady who did not seem friendly at all and was overwhelmed by the smell of dog poop and urine when I walked in. I gave her the number of our vet back in Spokane so she could get his vaccine records and I poked around only to find filthy floors and a room that was filled with junk and trash. The lady was rude and sharp with our vet over the phone and then hung up on them and yelled across the room at me that they had never heard of my dog and unless I had records she wouldn't take him. I assured her they had the records and she refused to call them again. When I told her he had his license and his rabis vaccine records on his coller she said "I don't give a shit! You should be responsible and have his records with you!" At that point in time, I was so disgusted with her attitude towards a new client and by the smell and condition of the kennel I simply told her she had lost my business and I walked out. Please avoid this place at all costs. If their office is as unsanitary as it was I can't imagine how horrible the kennels are and if the staff is that rude to a new client I cannot imagine how they must treat the pets. Please do not give them any business! more

Sounds like the above instance was an isolated one. We have used them several times for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They have a new small dog facility out the back that is great, well heated with large runs. The prices have been almost half anywhere else. One on occasion they even took our dog outside hours for an emergency trip to Canada we needed to make. We were very fortunate and they were certainly friendly enough and understanding of our plight when we came knocking on their private residence. Our dog has always been returned happy and in good condition. I would have no hesitation in leaving him there. more

When my daughter and I picked up our puppy on a Wednesday no one was in the front office. We waited for someone to show up for several minutes and no one did - it was 1 p.m. We saw a call button which said "Please do not hold." We pressed it, careful not to hold, but no one showed up. We then pressed it a few more times, still careful not to hold - thinking someone may be in the kennel with a cordless phone with them. There was no other signage to refer to. Still no one showed up and there was no sign of life on the property. Finally the owner's husband showed up, irate and rude, with a sarcastic "We have things to do and you shouldn't expect us to jump and come to your beckoned call." He refused to bring our puppy out when I got angry at his rude behavior!!! My 9-yo feared that a man so quick to anger could likely mistreat the animals as well. The wife finally showed up w/o an apology after 15 minutes. PLEASE if you love your dog/cat DON'T ever leave them here!!!! Also, the large dog area stinks and conditions are poor. more
