Milk Pail 8/13/2005

I really like the Milk Pail Market. It is located in a little shopping center with Walmart, Target, Mervyn's right next to Ross. I love that they always have strawberries waiting for me. The staff is always willing to cut the boxes apart for me. The prices are pretty reasonable. Whenever I go there there is always a little crowd. It is partially outside. Parking is good since it is in that little shopping center. The part that I dont like is that when you are trying to pay for your things, that aisle is really small, and there are a lot of people. Its kinda hard to squeeze through sometimes. more

Open-air market best produce 7/15/2005

This without doubt the best produce market in the area. The Milk Pail started as an open-air Euro-style market that was primarily devoted to milk & cheeses (dairy products). While the selection of cheese has dwindled over the years, the amount and variety of produce has increased. The market is run as a co-op. All employees are part-time. And the owners have setup fantastic deals with various growers in the area, all of which allows them to keep operating costs down, and provide the customer with the best selection at the lowest price. Even if you don’t live in Mountain View, this market is worth the trip just for the bargain prices and the items available. more

I'm lovin' it 7/12/2005

The Milk Pail Market is a great little grocery store in Mountain View. It is located near Albertsons and Ross and is across the street from Safeway. You can find tons of great stuff at the Milk Pail Market, including fruits and veggies, ice cream, any many different kinds of European treats. I absolutely love the fruits and veggies they have there because there are all sooo extremely delicious and yet they are cheaper than basically anywhere, even Safeway and Albertsons! It is truly amazing. The interior isn't the nicest but I love it anyways! more

Awesome 7/12/2005

The Milk Pail Market has a great variety of European foods. While many of the foods are cheap, they are also good. This store mostly sells vegetables and fruit. It also sells some dairy products, including cheeses, milk, etc. It has good, cheap chocolate. Their fruits and vegetables are cheap but are of good quality. They also sell Russian bread. The only thing I don't like about this store is that it is partly outdoors and it is usually crowded and they only have 2 cashiers most of the time (but they don't have room for more anyways). more
