The optician is incompetent. At first, he is very friendly. But he turned out to be incompetent as well as unwilling to admit ever making a mistake. He has been unable to properly fit my lenses, resulting in him cutting them incorrectly FOUR times. I have to fight with him every time and they just keep getting worse. I have had them checked by other opticians who have confirmed that they are wrong. I finally had to speak with Dr. Kaldawi (who owns the business). He was condescending and patronizing. He would not even look at my glasses, though he did have his nurse check my prescription (""as a courtesy"" to me?!?) - but only after they had me fill out the usual patient/insurance paperwork (which I refused to sign - I no longer trust them - I wouldn't put it past them to bill my insurance for this ""courtesy""). He said that I would have to work with the optician to get the lenses corrected. It's so incredibly frustrating because I know his optician cannot be trusted to do the job correctly, but there is no one else there who can do it and it, supposedly, is too late to get my money back. I spent $400+ on these glasses (progressives with Crizal coating), many hours going back and forth and endured numerous headaches. In fact, the first pair of lenses he cut I couldn't wear. I tried to ""get used to them"" for several hours a day for several days and always ended up going back to my old glasses (from somewhere else). They gave me headaches and constant dizziness. I am hoping that the fifth pair of lenses are at least usable without headaches and dizziness. I cannot afford another $400-$500 at this time. MY ADVICE - Go someplace else! And, if you've already gotten glasses there, have them checked by an independent optician. If they're wrong, don't fool around; get your money back ASAP.
