Milestone Electric

First off, I have used them in the past and the work they did was fine, but they overcharge. This last time I called them they said the cost would be $1200.00. The work was to move two plugs, put in a new plug and install two light switches. They also charge $70.00 to show up, all the past times they never charge me this. Then the guy kept telling me that my fuse box needed to be replaced...I knew that was a lie. So I tell this guy to leave, I gave him the $70.00 and he still would not leave my home. I kept telling him to go now after all this is my home. So I called up a guy I had used in the past, but was not sure he was still in the area, he was and his crew came out - no service fee and they charged me $321.00. Guss who will get a good review from me?? more

This company scammed me on a service call. After 4 hours at my home and $1,200.00, I was in the same situation as I was prior to calling them to my home. In addition, the technician (Steven) stated that I needed to have my entire panel box replaced for an additional $4,000. As it turns out, it was a simple power company issue - this electrician knew this and should have checked this out prior to doing any work. The quality of the work was very poor - did damage to my brick, left a new meter box hanging on the house, loose ground wires hanging, very poor workmanship. He even charged me for a ground rod that was not installed and for a permit that I never received. I will report this company to the city for an inspection of poor quality workmanship, that doesn't meet regulations. Hopefully, they will lose their license or be more selective about the credentials of the technicians they employ. Beware of this company! more
