The Mile High Flea Market has evolved into an almost carnival-like atmosphere, with rides and food booths mixed in with the vendors. That makes it all the more festive. From stationary storefronts that are there year-round to the tables of eclectic attic treasures offered by those who've just cleaned there's out, you probably won't walk away from here empty-handed.
As with most free markets (and this one is the biggest one I've ever been to) you should go into it with an open mind as to what you might end up with. I've purchased leg weights, a wooden step ladder, a motorcycle helmet, luggage and a garden bench at various times. You just never know. The fruit and veggie booths offer fresh produce of varying quality. Some are better than others, so squeeze before you buy!
