Welcome to Mile Creek Animal Hospital! Mile Creek Animal Hospital is a new veterinary facility, conveniently located on State Route 66 in Minster, Ohio. Specializing in small animal medicine, Dr. Leslie Winner and staff are available to handle all of your pet's needs, from wellness care to advanced surgical procedures. The fully equipped hospital is complete with a digital x-ray unit, in-house blood analyzers, a Vet-Pro dental system, and a state of the art surgical suite including complete anesthesia delivery and monitoring and heated recovery units. Recognizing that our clients lead busy lives, home visits are offered to accomodate those clients who are unable to come to the office or for pets that do not tolerate trips to the vet. Delivery service for food or medication is also provided. Pick up and drop off for grooming or veterinary appointments is available. Boarding and grooming services are also offered. Along with traditional veterinary services, Mile Creek Animal Hospital extends compassion for end-of-life care and support for terminally ill or injured pets. Dr. Winner and her staff are committed to providing compassionate, prompt, and courteous service to better strengthen the human-animal bond. Our Staff: Dr. Leslie WInner Dr. Winner lives in Egypt, Ohio with her husband of 18 years, Jon Werling. She and Jon have 2 children, Sam and Sophie. Their pet rescue family consists of 3 dogs, 4 cats and 2 horses. Leslie graduated from Coldwater High School. She acquired a B.S. in Natural Resources from O.S.U in 1989 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and Animal Protection League along with other animal rescue agencies. She is also on the Board of Developmental Disabilities, and a member of the Southwestern Auglaize Co Chamber of Commerce. On a personal note, Les enjoys vacationing and camping with her large extended family and she is very involved in St. Augustine Catholic Church. She has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in the area for the past 18 years and is licensed and accredited in both Ohio and Indiana. Dr. Winner is known for the personalized care she gives all of her patients and their owners. Her exceptional diagnostic abilities set her apart in her profession. She is always looking for the answers with a focus on preventative care and quality of life. Starting her own practice, Mile Creek Animal Hospital, named after a family farm, is a dream fulfilled. Sarah Kittle, RVT Sarah was raised in Norwalk, Ohio and graduated cum laude from Columbus State with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2004. She currently resides in Celina with her husband, Luke, their rescue dogs, Noggin and Fia and 3 rescue cats, Larry, Stan and Olive. Sarah likes to cook, read and travel. She is a member of the Ohio Association of Veterinary Technicians and a Mercer Co. 4-H Advisor for the Hooves & Boots 4-H Club. She has special interests in animal dentistry and animal behavior. She also enjoys client education. Her easy going personality makes her very approachable and clients relate to her with ease. Sarah delivers the highest quality care to her patients and enjoys the tasks of surgical monitoring and recovery care. She looks forward to the challenges that each day brings here at Mile Creek Animal Hospital. Heather Haines, Practice Manager Heather was born and raised in Celina, Ohio; graduated from Celina High and Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Church Music and Christian Education. She has worked in the veterinary profession since 1997. She loves spending time with her husband of 18 years, Kevin and her 3 awesome children, Jacqueline, Quinton and Hunter, and two older stepchildren Alicia and Jairus.
