Found this place via the internet... kept showing up as a 'HOT PLACE' to visit on a ""competitor's"" website... so I had to give it a go... couple two three folks from the office rolled on down... it's in downtown Santa Ana, so working your way around is a little tricky... there really is no parking, but we found a self-pay lot up the street for $2. Once we arrived, we found the place to be VERY SMALL.... however luckily one table was available... woo hoo! The food? Being that I've never had Venezuelan food, I had to go with the house choices... The recommendation was the Carne Desmechada (1st choice) and the Pebellon (2nd choice)... since they were smaller sandwiches (or Arepas), I opted to go with one each... Indeed, they were amazing... Not quite sure how to explain the bread... definitely corn based, but not like corn bread... either way, great find Yelp!... very outside the box type of place. Actually looking forward to trying the Salvadoreno place next door: El Curtido.
