I love going to Mike's! They have the nicest people, and they have a great chilled wine section too, since that's mainly what I'm looking for to grab on my way to a girls' night ...

Great location and service 1/23/2012

Mike's is in a great location, has a good selection of pretty much everything, and the staff is professional and helpful. The place is clean and organized, and if you want mixers, they've got it all ready for you there. Good overall place. more

Go-to place for a good selection 10/11/2011

Mike's rocks. They've got a good variety of liquors (especially the flavored vodkas like Van Gogh), great selection of imports, stouts, and IPA's, and a decent selection of wine. I do like their chilled wine section, which is convenient if you are picking up a bottle to take to a friend's house or for dinner at home. The people are nice and knowledgeable. more

Great selection, college friendly 5/12/2011

Mike's Beer Barn has a great selection, good prices, friendly staff, and is in a good location with easy parking. When we have a party and need a keg, ice, mixers, and good-quality alcohol, they're there to help and give some good recommendations. I like that they are close to the college side of town. They've got good hours and a good selection, and they've been around for years, so they know the area, the students, and what people like. I've never been disappointed or felt ripped off like with other places in town. more

Mike's beer barn is a great location 2/28/2011

Mike's beer barn is a great location - in and out right on Tennessee Street - with not only gas, but almost any kind of liquor you can think of, mixers, energy drinks, a great wine selection including chilled wine, awesome beer selection, and drive-up service for kegs. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It's nice to head to Mike's after the gym to get a case of beer for later and grab a Vitamin Water for the road. I've been very impressed with this place for some time, and my friends and I go here at least twice a month. It's great to gas up while you're there too. Highly recommend. more
