Excellent service - well above and beyond. 1/18/2011

I called a few different places for quotes on a bathroom ceiling fan replacement. Everyone I talked to at Mike's electric was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and gave me the most reasonable quote by far. The electrician who came to do the work was great - and he finished much sooner than planned, so it cost less than the original quote. I will definitely be calling them for all my home electric needs. more

Power loss on one side of the house only! 1/8/2011

We were so worried about the electrical issues at our home. saw that Mike's was recommended by Angie's list we decided to take a chance and I am so GLAD that we did! The work turned out to be an easy fix and easy on the wallet! The gentleman (Aaron) was extremely Knowledgeable, Professional and Polite. ALL of our future electrical issues will be handled by Mike's! These guys are great! Thanks! more

Excellent service, very professional 12/12/2010

The service was very professional, both times when Tom came to the house, fisrt to assess the problem and then to fix it, he was on time or called to say he would be 20 minutes late. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after himself. It was the best experience I have had with a home service call that I can remember. more

Grounding & Bonding 12/9/2010

Being new to the area I called Mike's Electric because they were close to our house. I couldn't have made a better decision. For their second visit we had to have the house grounded since we had recently replaced all the pipes. Don did a great job, in fact the inspector said he went above and beyond what needed to be done. I would highly recommend Mike's to anyone! They are prompt, thorough and highly professional! more

I highly recommend Mike's Electrical for any project. They are honest, fair and reliable. I have used Mike's for a number of projects and they always get the job done with excellence without breaking my wallet. The people at Mike's are just easy to talk to, always happy to provide detailed explanations of what needs to be done, and never make you feel like they're looking for ways to "add on" additional services. Mike's brings back good old fashion service! 11/29/2010

I have an existing project and permit for my work and have wired in a new range. Being a little bit of a chicken around the panel, I called Mike's to check quotes for having them hook it up to the panel for me. Rather than using the opportunity to charge me for additional (or transfer of) permits, labor, etc, they explained how to simply do this myself. In this day and age, it's hard to find a company who cares enough about their customers (and potential customers) to try and save them time and money. I can say quite confidently I will use Mike's and recommend them in the future. more

I had trouble with lighting at my house. I contacted Mike's electric and recieved timely and professional service. The electrition that came out was very knowledgable and was very considerate during his visit. I would and have recommended Mike's Electric to family and friends. more

Recessed lighting, counter lighting, gfi outlets, new outlets and light fixtures. 11/4/2010

Mike's electric spent 2 days doing all my electrical wants and needs. Donny was prompt and professional. He took the extra time to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it including making sure things matched with existing hardware. From my first call to my final payment, everyone was helpful and informative. I will definitely use them again. more

Very helpful, professional, and friendly! 10/27/2010

I called Mike's Electric because there was a sticker for the company on my apartment's breaker box. I was greeted by Daryl, who was very friendly, professional, and helpful and directed to Doug. Over the phone, Doug was able to help me figure out what was happening with the breaker for my dryer. I could tell from the instructions he was giving me that he had a lot of knowledge and experience with residential electric situations. He too was very professional and friendly, and his instructions were clear and given in a patient manner. To be honest, I was skeptical calling an electrician for advice because I was sure someone would be required to come out for an estimate and I would be charged. However, not once did either of the gentlemen push for an in-person evaluation of the situation, and Doug was very good at troubleshooting to find simple solutions that anyone can fix. I appreciate the customer service I received, and I know that I will turn to Mike's Electric again if I have another electrical issue and recommend others do the same. more

Great Job cleaning up the Breaker box, outstanding workmanship! 10/20/2010

Donny did a great job cleaning up the breaker box and installing three gfci outlets. I was shocked how much better the box looked, it was a big mess. He had to cut sheetrock and did a good job of keeping the place clean. I'm very impressed with his work and would recommend him to friends. more

Found a loose neutral in attic junction box 10/18/2010

The technician was really nice and very competent. It didn't take him long to find the problem. He made no mess, and was great at answering my questions. Every experience I've had with Mike's has been great. Considering everything, his prices are very reasonable. more

Great job, accurate estimate, timely completion 9/27/2010

I asked Mike's back to do another job: install a dedicated line for a new microwave plus a whole-house surge suppressor. They showed up on time for both the estimate visit and the actual work, did exactly what they said, explained everything, and left the work area in better shape than before (removed some extra wiring no longer needed). Thanks! more

Quick, responsive, and reliable. 9/21/2010
