Mike's is as mentioned an authorized reseller of items that others have rejected. Overstock, outdated, almost over-ripe or under ripe...whatever. This is gift to the sensible people of the world. When I shop at Mike's for me, my wife and our 5 kids I know I will find things that I have not seen before. Last night I made spinach soup. It was a frozen 5 pd bag. Soup was great. Bag cost me $3!!!! They always have fresh non-expired yogurt for 60-80% off retail and mixed bags of lettuce and salad mixes 2 for $3. I am always pleased with Mike's. Also if you spend $50 or more you get 10% OFF.Crazy right? Get beat Mike's. I always go there first and then head to my Cub to finish off what I could not get at Mike's. I save a bundle more

You get what you pay for 12/20/2005

Mikes Discount Foods is a store that sells discontinued and returned grocery items . Some of the stuff is prett good. You really need to take the time to read the expiration dates and all. I have gotten good deals. Mushrooms 2 packs for !.00 quite a few times. They have frozen meats too. Some are good deals , some id question.. You can get yogurt cheaply most arent expired. Ive bought serveral things there and most of the time have been pleased with the results. They have a few stores scattered around anoka county so i bet you can find one close to you. more
