The Scene
The restaurant sits high above Sausalito and Richardson Bay. The view is superb, making it a great place for a special night out or a weekend champagne brunch. Mikayla is also a popular spot for wedding receptions and private parties.
The Food
The menu changes daily; recent appetizers included herb and garlic-crusted goat cheese with frisee salad and phyllo-wrapped duxelles. Entrees might be Chilean sea bass wrapped in potato, confit of salmon or gratin of Maine lobster. Favorite desserts include the classic crème brûlée, chocolate mousse with raspberries and an impressive selection of cheeses. The wine list focuses on California and West Coast wines, earning it a mention in Wine Spectator magazine.
