Mikado's turned out to be a great place to stop for dinner. We arrived during their last hour open and were dismayed to sees that we were the last couple dining so late on a Saturday night. The staff very graciously welcomed us,though, and served us as if it were no inconvenience at all. Having both worked in restaurants ourselves, we know how selfless one must be to accommodate latecomers with such patience. Every piece of sushi we ordered was delicious. The wasabi was spot-on and the specials were beautiful. Overall, Mikado was much more affordable and the seating arrangements were preferable to the current options downtown. (The last place we frequented downtown was quite awkward and busy, with tables laid out more like a cafeteria, *but with higher prices and slower service.)
Pros: Delicious food, kind staff, easy parking, late menu hours
