Midwestone Bank

I am very disappointed in this banks willingness to partner with local businesses that are growing and expanding. I understand being risk adverse, but I think they've taken it to a level that stifles business growth and hurts growing employment opportunities. more

We banked with MidWest One Bank for about 7 months, and while they did their job when it came to providing a checking and savings account to us, I was disappointed in their customer support and other services and programs offered. I think it is a fantastic bank, but not geared towards younger individuals and couples. It has good programs for adults and those that are well-adjusted in their lives. However, as a young married couple that is just starting out in our adult lives and career, we wanted something a little more suited to us. We also felt that the employees at MidWest One were a little upity and weren't as helpful as we had hoped. We often felt like we were inconveniencing them with our questions and requests. While we have switched to another bank for now, I would recommend them to someone a little older that could benefit from the services and packages they offer. Also, in comparison to other banks in the area, the prices for their services are a little higher. more
