Awesome 6/14/2013

I tried to do business local and I saw their ad on the internet and called them up. Midwest Marble & Granite did brand new countertops and backsplash. It was done in a relatively quick manner. I called them and they were over in about an hour to give me a bid. Within a week after I gave approval, the work was complete. I thought it was fantastic. They were very responsive. It was a great experience. Without a doubt I would use them again. Their craftsmanship is really good. Nick takes pride in his work and it shows. more

Great Experience 6/10/2013

My husband and I took on the endeavor of being our own contractors for a complete kitchen remodel. This meant we contracted ourselves for demo, drywall, and what ever else we felt competent for. When counter-top time came we were exhausted from the whole process. We wanted the counter top to be incredibly durable, but at the same time we needed it to look good since it occupies such a large surface of our new kitchen. At the same time, we were worried about affordability as our budget had been dwindling down. Midwest Marble and Granite was able to educate us so we knew what we were looking at. When we chose a product we felt like we were getting value for our dollar. They were able to offer constructive opinions so we were happy with the product we chose. Once we chose the product the let us pick which sheets to use. They were very patient throughout the process and didn't push us into any decision. They were honest with us, and personable. Even more impressive, when problems arose, as problems always do, they were quick to address anything that came up. They didn't avoid us as other contractors had done on previous jobs. They communicated the moment they were informed of anything. They never assumed, they always discussed. I couldn't say enough positive things about our experience. Thank you for being such a pleasure to work with. more

You hear that kitchen work is supposed to be a painful experience and Midest Marble and Granite made it painless. 6/10/2013

I had my countertops replaced with granite. Midwest Marble and Granite were very flexible in terms of working with my schedule to make the template and coming back to install the granite. It happened very quickly - form beginning to end the project was less than a week. Samantha gave us a list of places to go to look at the granite. I only went to a few of them. When I told her, she offered to run over to a couple of places to take photos for me. I think that was excellent customer service! I scheduled the installation so I could look at the end of the job. I came home when the workers had an hour of work left. They were very nice installers, very respectful and friendly. For a week there they were the most important people in my life! I expect people to ask me, "Where did you get your countertops?" and I will refer them. This came out better than I had hoped. I think they're very professional. Midwest Marble and Granite seem very flexible and honest. I felt like Nick was very upfront, gave me an invoice beforehand so there were no surprises, and I really appreciated that. more
