Great place 12/22/2009

Great place to find good deals. Found them to be helpful and their pricing to be realistic. Have run into the owner, Wayne, at a couple of guitar shows and while checking out used guitars at a chain store, he was quick to point out the good deals to me, even though he wasn't the seller. Aren't pushy when you wander their store, but I found them very helpful and approachable when I had a question. Know their stuff, but not snobby about it. more

This is the best used guitar store in Chicago 1/28/2008

Wayne and his crew have been taking care of me since my bar band days in the early 90's. Fair prices on Guitars, amps, basses, and whatever else is laying around. The stuff is mostly used so it helps to know what you are doing, but if you play guitar this place is amazing. It is also a new store every time you go, because it's not a museum. They actually turn over their inventory fairly regularly. more

Used guitars and Amps 11/13/2006

They buy and sell mostly used guitars and amps. They also sell all the accessories that you will need to accompany your guitar purchase; strings, straps, amp cords, picks, tuners etc.. these items are all new. You can find some good deals on used acoustic and electric guitars. If you are selling, be warned you will only be offered about 1/3 or even less of the retail price of your guitar or amp. These are no-nonsense guys that are not "chatty cathys" buy any means, do you know the type I mean? Buy or sell and split! more
