Midway Muffler Shop

I am the owner of three business in De. I would never take my cars to this place again!!!! The owner is a P.O.S. My car went in for a leak in the exhaust leak. We got it back and it was still leaking. After my kids took it out on a date sat. Night they were over came with fumes and made they all sick. After I talked with the Owner of Midway he told me to bring it back in. I asked him if they checked the work after they were finished the first time...........Wow he blew up on me. He said to take a picture and ask me to have the phone fix the car!!!!! WHAT? And then hung up the phone. I called him back over 30 times in 1 hour. He keep hanging up the phone. If this is the way he conducts his business I will never go there again!!!!! I am in public service and every chance I get I will spread this awful service. Way to go midway!!!!! more

If you have a lot of pride in your car and want high quality work and top quality parts, this may not be the place for you. Also, when rebuttals come forward in response to bad reviews, they usually come from preferential people and portrait an attitude that the customer is never right. more

Car was worse than when I took in to get repaired, and they didn't even want to drive the car to see, they made up a bunch of excusses. It doesn't pay to skimp. I would not recommend to anyone. Plus they were very ignorant. more

Called around to 3 different shops in Wilmington area. Described the job to each - simply weld in my own supplied Catalytic Converter (1). I had prices of $100 on 2 other locations and then called MIDWAY. They gave me a price of $60-$100 at the most so I gave them the job. I send my son up who is 17 and they TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIM. Gave him some BS about it being more difficult. This was a half hour job for someone who was skilled at the most. They charged him $200 and he didn't know any better but pay it with his HARD EARNED MONEY. The job was understood and it was to be $60 - $100 at the worst.\r \r I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THIS SHOP. There are others around who will not RIP YOU OFF and TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY once you get there and your car is up on the lift.\r \r STAY AWAY !!!!! more

I needed a new muffler for my car and I went to Midway. They were able to remove the old muffler and replace it with a new one for a reasonable price. Their service is fast and good. more
