I went there for a state inspection. It took just 10-15 minutes as promised over the phone. This is only the second car workshop where I met polite mechanics and personnel who treat customers nicely. I've needed a couple of things done on my Ford Explorer for a looooonnnngg time, but just recently moved to the area and didn't know any of the auto shops. Who would do a good job and who might fleece me? Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore (and had enough spare $'s on hand, just in case) and found Midtown Auto. I brought it over in the morning and Vinny took a look at what I needed. He said honestly it might be real busy so he couldn't promise to get to it the same day, but asked me to leave it just in case and he called. \r A few hours later, he called and said that one job was done and the other was waiting for a part to come and if I left it, they could have it done by the next afternoon. But he left the decision up to me. I said OK.\r A little after 5 PM, Vinny called again to say that they got the part already and all the work was done! \r All in all, it was done faster and cheaper than I expected with great communication! Thanks guys-- you've got my recommendation! more
