The Midland Academy, authorized by Central Michigan University, is open to students throughout Michigan. The school, embraces all grades, K-12. Our grade continuity enables students to grow in a stable setting with guiding principles and key values consistently reinforced through the collaboration of home and school.
The Academy offers a challenging academic program with an advanced and expanded curriculum. Beyond academics, enrichment is provided through offerings such as leadership organizations, academic teams, athletics, field and school-sponsored trips, and community involvement. Parental participation is a vital link in the success of our school and is encouraged through our Parent Partnership Network. The Academy also builds life skills such as responsibility, proper social behavior, and decision-making. Students experience the rewards and self-respect that stem from taking responsibility for their education.
The Midland Academy experience is unique. We have designed our program to be rigorous, yet sufficiently diverse to be balanced by social activities. It is our goal that students will find their experiences at The Academy to be challenging, rewarding and fun, while helping them develop the desire to become life-long learners.
