I first tried this business last month (after my long-time groomer retired) to groom my miniature schnauzer and my standard schnauzer. The haircut was not done correctly. There was a large tuft of hair left behind one ear, very irregular cutting on the furnishings, very choppy. The ears were not cleaned out. I called and she said she had cut the hair in the ears instead of pulling. Even that was not done well! There were long pieces of hair sticking out of and around the ears. She offered for me to bring them in to fix the problems, but I declined, as that was too much time out of my schedule. I had made a second appointment for today, so I decided to keep it to give her a second chance. The info I found online pertaining to this business said it opened at 7:00, so I called and left a message today asking what time the appointment was. When I didn't hear back in a reasonable time, I called once more and left a message. At around 8:15 I received a nasty call from her telling me that she lost out on two hours of sleep because of my 2 calls; that she did not open at 7:00 and she was sleeping at her place of business with two not very well behaved dogs that were boarding overnight. She also stated that other people had called numerous times this morning. How is it that the owner of a business calls a customer who had called her place of business, and fusses at her for that? Can she not turn off the ringer if she is sleeping? She says she needs to answer the phone if her mother calls. Does she not have a personal cell phone for her mother to call? Does she not realize that customers call your business and that customers are what make your business? Needless to say, I canceled for today and will be looking for another groomer. I would not recommend to anyone!!!
