My wife and I can't say enough about how much we appreciate the care and compassion we experience every time we visit Middletown Animal Hospital. They supported us through the passing of our beloved pet last April and were just as excited as we were with the happy introduction of our new puppy later. We wouldn't trust anyone else. The facility is clean and state of the art. Staff is exceptional. We sincerely love these folks. more

Great! MAH response time is awesome. I called with a possible snake bite to our dog And they saw us as soon as we could come into town this morning. Their team of Vets and assistants have always been most helpful with our dogs and goats. Thank you for being here for us! Yes, we would highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff if you want excellent animal care!!!!! more

In 40 years I have never met or been to a better Vet Hospital or found more REAL caring doctors. This is the place !!! Pet owners look no further...I have had 3 St. Poodles, 2 Dobermans, Cats and some mixed breed dogs as well as Conure parrots and Parakeets. Yes I am an animal Lover ! Been to many , many Vets in Marin and East Bay areas ...now in Lake Co. I have had the best experience and even my dog lets me know she likes them...she pulls away from the others and walks right in their door gladly. They all know Addie's name as we enter ..Happy Dog & Happy Owner ! more

I just have to express how wonderful the Middletown vet hospital is and how well they took care of my St. Poodle Addie bell . This winter she developed some lumps..she had never had anything happen to her in the 11 yrs of her life..kinda lucky huh.? Two were hard lumps and seemed like cancer maybe..the MVH were there for us on Sat. emergencies open 7 days 24 hrs...love them !! Staff gets a five star rating for caring , compationate , professional , knowledgable up to date , clean , did I say NICE yet ? They are like family to clients... Mostly they know how to run a vet hospital better than what I have experienced in 40 plus yrs. having owned dogs like dobermans more

I highly appreciate the professional and sincere care and treatment of the entire staff and facility they provide. I was referred to Middletown Animal Hospital due to a dog I am fostering needed more care than the average vet could provide. I am so impressed that I am now taking my dogs here for not only medical care but also for grooming and boarding. I thank you Dr Smith and your wonderful staff for the loving care you all have provided each and every time I have come in. more

Middletown Hospital Staff took care of our beloved Samson for three years since we moved to Hidden Valley Lake. We took him there for medical care, boarding, and grooming. They are so very caring and gentle with the animals. Recently Samson had to be euthanized - he was very old. They were more than compassionate to us during what was one of the most difficult days we've ever experienced. Samson was a big part of our lives for 19 years. We were very moved to hear the staff who knew him were also upset about his passing. They became attached to him too. He had endeared himself to them because they opened their hearts to him. I am very grateful for every kindness extended to Samson and us. We will never forget it. more
