This is a great church. Filled with people from all walks -- gay, straight, black, white, hispanic and asian -- it really is what makes New York special.\r

I don't really pay attention to the denomination thing and I don't think they do either. It is a fairly traditional protestant church (with choirs, semons and a great old church setting) but very progressive in what it teaches.\r

I was kinda worried about going in there and having them do the church thing on me, but found them to be very accepting and friendly without overbearing. The pastors are great and can really preach!\r
\r
They also have a great gospel choir that sings sometimes and is really worth going to see. \r

I would check them out -- especially if you are looking to get kinda spriritual or have been in the past, but have been afraid to get involved because you are not the church kind. There are a lot of those people in the congregation.
Pros: great preaching, welcoming, great singing
Cons: kinda none
