I went to Midas because they had a good offer for a oil change and tire rotation. I came out questioning my dealer and the next day was pissed. After my oil change the manager came to me to tell me that my rear brakes were worn down and my rotors had been damaged. Most likely he told me this because I had my daughter with me and tried to make me panic. I knew that my brakes should be okay because they had been changed only 20 k miles before. I took my car into the dealer the next day, the mechanic shows me that my brakes were only 40 % worn, if that.
I get home and call midas to ask them if it was their policy to lie and rip off customers, of course they denied it....this gets better. I write into the midas corp., they tell me the owner will be contacting me in 3 days. A month later after 3 e mails, I call midas corp, they tell me that the owner said he contacted me and my brother took care of the problem. I DON""T HAVE A BROTHER! I was told that the owner would be contacting me again...still waiting.
