WARNING!!! If you have work done there and are not happy they will likely call the police. Spend your money elsewhere!!! You might get to ride your bike on the weekends without fear of sudden death instead of fixing the work mid Columbia motorsports has done THEY SCREWED UP TWO OF MY BIKES!. Here's the letter I wrote to the BBB . * I had this dealership replace four tires on two different motorcycles, a ktm adventure and a ktm mxc. The tire installed on the ktm adventure went 8 miles on pavement and then two miles off road the front tire lost air pressure instantly almost throwing me from the machine. After trailering the motorcycle to my home I noticed that the front tire had no nails,, holes,,, nor any obvious sign of damage. I checked the back tire at this point and found that it had 50 lbs of air pressure which is very much over what my type of motorcycle should have. I called and they said they would be happy to repair the tire. I noticed a bent front rim from rocks in the roadway due to the rapid loss of air pressure,,, . I mentioned this dented rim at the time, As I was concerned with a new highly expensive tire having blown out and almost causing an accident. I was told it was fine and the tire and wheel set where given back to me. I decided that i would let it set for a day or two to see if it held air before i used it. I then rode the second bike that they worked on after having to put air in the rear tire I noticed that they had put the front tire of this second bike ON BACKWARDS, I limped the bike home fearing another blow out. I then called the dealership and was told by the manager there that I was wasting to much time in explaining the problem and was not much longer after that hung up on i returned the call many times and he came to the phone eventually. I parked the bike and then put the front tire on the bike that had almost killed me from the blowout (ktm 950 adventure) I rode it to work and while in transit the front of the machine started wobbling excessively. the dealership was on my way home i stopped to ask what could be done ..I was told that the bike would be fixed that they would remove the tire and wheel and re-balance it to see if that helped.. then five minutes later the manager said that they would not work on it and called the police..when the police came NICK the manager said at first he would work on it then rescinded again and said he would not because of liability's. I at this point offered to buy the new rim and a new tire if they would perform the work that it would need to fix it.the manager flatly refused to help me even after my offer to purchase the new parts, We then talked about the second bike with the reversed front tire.they told me to take the tire off the bike bring it in and they would replace it. I called the tire manufacturer and they said it should be replaced. The dealership simply reversed the front tire and returned it to me without having replaced it. I asked for my money back due to the fact that the work was done badly and that also I'm not a motorcycle mechanic but that I've spent hours working on these repairs. I was refused a return of my money and am hoping for financial recompense And now find small claims and the bbb to be my best options. I've lost a lot of enjoyment from my machine, After almost having been killed from the front tire blowing out, if they work towards a resolution I will gladly come back here to tell you all I was wrong and that they just needed more time to get it right..if this is still up, Written like it is now you can know that they in fact did nothing, Regards
