Mid Atlantic Tennis Courts

I used them for my residential court back in 2012. They did come highly recommended by the clubs which is why I went with them. Overall I am pleased with their work and the court has held up extremely well. It was a delightful experience. It took them about 5 days for them to provide a free court evaluation. The salesman Marc returned all of my calls within a day. They were much more responsive than the other companies. They scheduled my court pretty quickly and had it wrapped up in less than a week. The crew was friendly and knew what they were doing. They answered my 100's of questions during the entire process. To this day there are no cracks on the court and the color looks just as good as it did when they first coated it. \r \r I would highly recommend them to all of my neighbors in Great Falls and McLean. Will definitely use them when it comes time to repair the court again. Purchased Tennis Shield System. Installed in November, cracks reappeared in April. Worse, Bob Clohan was unresponsive, did not honor the warranty and I was forced to file complaints with the BBB and the MD Home Improvement Commission. more

Mid Atlantic Tennis Courts installed one of their synthetic mat overlay systems on our courts last year. We are extremely happy with the end results of the TennisShield system. The major structural cracks haven't returned and the surface has held up extremely well. We love the cushion like feel and can now enjoy our courts for many more hours without getting too beaten up. The courts look brand spanking new after spending shy of $30K per court for major patching of puddles, net post footer replacement and installation of the TennisShield mat system over the courts. Courts looked so good and play well our tennis membership went up. This was the best investment our club has ever made. Shocking that a simple call to Mid Atlantic Tennis Courts would result in an increase in tennis memberships and participation in all age groups. \r \r After shopping around we found Mid Atlantic Tennis Courts. They were much more professional than the rest of the four companies that came out. Extremely knowledgeable staff and salesperson. They seemed pretty confident from years of experience and the overall volume of work they perform in the region. After doing our due diligence we selected them because of their reputation, previous work at high end facilities and they had the best proven repair system for our needs. They were not the cheapest but the best choice after checking on the other companies work. We weren't going to fall for using the cheapest company again. We are more than 110% happy with our courts and the hard work Mid Atlantic put into them. We would recommend anybody with a tennis court try Mid Atlantic Tennis Courts out. I will personally will recommend them to some of the other clubs I teach at.\r \r On another noted after doing all of our research I would stay away from their competitors crack repair systems. After contacting a lot of their competitors references we found a lot of them were not happy with the crack repairs failing in a short period of time. Even though Mid Atlantic proved to us that their long term crack repair systems work well and their customers backed it up we opted to go with a synthetic mat overlay for the long term warranty and to avoid additional new cracking which no system predict or warranty. I heard about these guys from some of the local clubs. They come highly recommended. Their sales person was extremely helpful and provided a proposal within 24 hrs. I check out their references and was shocked by the amount of high end projects they have under their belt including televised tournaments. After further research on Mid Atlantic and the quality of work I was shocked that their pricing was so affordable and comparable with the other local companies which we have used in the past and was considering again. These guys are awesome and it was so impressive to watch them in action. I'm so glad we chose them over the other two companies which use inferior crack repairs that returned within a year..We learned the hard way. After a couple of years of heavy use the cracks haven't come back and color has held up well. We have saved $1000's by hiring Mid Atlantic and using their crack repair system. From our experience I would recommend giving them a try. more

BBB ""F"" Rating BEWARE \r My experience with Mid Atlantic Tennis Court was a nightmare. I would recommend going with one of their competitors. When they were done with my court I had rusted poles, failed footers, a net system that did not function properly, and the court holds 60 gallons of water because they patched it improperly. I understand service problems happen but the owner Bob Clohan refused to fix any of the problems they created. I have about $100,000 grand in my court and Bob created nightmares for my project.
