In September, I upgraded my cingular service when I purchased a phone from Mid America Wireless. Unbeknownst to me, my phone was uninsurable (due to newness of the model or something) and the insurance was dropped on this phone. Now the phone is damaged and I have no insurance to replace it. Not only did the Mid America salesperson tell me that "" the reason that phones on cingular's site are cheaper is that they are ALL refurbished"", but I was NOT told that my new phone was uninsurable. I am now stuck in a plan with no working phone. I have called Mid America wireless to see if there is anything they can do for me. We'll see.
