After driving 8 hours we were expecting what we reserved and that was 2 queen beds. We entered the room to find one queen bed and the room at 90 degrees. I then questioned staff as why we did not have 2 queen beds and was told we reserved a suite with 1 queen bed and a sofa bed. I asked to speak with management and was told that a manager would not be available until Monday. I then asked to have Corporates number and was told that I could not have it. So we had no choice but to stay. There were not any sheets for the sofa bed and there was a big yellow stain on the mattress. If this was one of the beds then linen should have been left for us. I had to go retrieve linen myself.\r
The thermostat did not work very well. You put it on high and you froze to death and if you put it on low you just about had a heat stroke. On top of this the toilet ran all night and the sink drained very slow. When I said something to staff I was told there is a basket in the drain. The drain was CLOGGED. \r
The attitude of all the staff was like they didnt care. They are very lazy.\r
When I returned home I called corporate to make a complaint and was told there was nothing they could do because each Microtel is a Franchise.\r
Corporate called Microtel and spoke with an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager said they would not adjust my bill because when I checked out, on Sunday, I did not address the problems with her. I did not address the problems, with her, because the night before I was told there would not be a manager until Monday. Plus, at checkout, I said something to the lady at the front desk and if the manager was there then she should have gotten her. \r
Avoid staying here or at any Microtel. If you have a problem and you can't get it resolved with the hotel, you are out of luck. Corporate can't do anything.\r
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. \r

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK\r
