Disgusting and Bad Service 3/30/2010

We got a table right away. The server was prompt to show up but we didnt see her again till almost the end of the meal. WHen she did return, she treated us like we were a burden to her. The food was hot but smelled and tasted like something old, like at grandmas house. The glass our beer was in smelled like sewer water which actually complemented the taste of their brew. more

Mickey Finn's Brewery is versatile! 8/18/2009

This is a great place for beer, a good place for food. The first-floor is more family-oriented restaurant and the top floor is more bar/club with live acts that are excellent at times and so-so sometimes. more

Mickey Finn's Brewery is one of the best micro breweries around! 8/7/2009

Probably one of the best micro breweries around! They have great tasting beer and they also offer different types of beer. Their food is excellent as well. If your looking for a great place for lunch or even dinner this is the place to go. It is kinda small so make sure tables are available before you go because they fill up fast more

This place has gone down hill lately.\r On the positive side if you like the micro brew thing then go fo it. The beer has not changed.\r \r If you like food stick to a burger but be patient and be tolerant.\r \r Service is extremely slow. I got water in a filthy glass. I tried to bring it to the attention of the server but when he didn't show up for 10 minutes I went inside and asked for a manager. The manager took a while to arrive and when he did acted like he was surprised and shocked but never sent out a fresh glass of water. Come on guys, I only wanter a new glass of water. I was not looking to be compensated in any other way but they didn't care.\r \r There are enough other options in Libertyville now and no need to subject yourself to this kind of treatment. Pros: Beer is still the same. Cons: Service and cleanliness more

Great Atmosphere - Great Beer - Great Food - Hot Chicks - Great Live Music 5/7/2007

I love this place! They have the best burger I've had anywhere ""The Mickey-Burger"", try it with blue cheese! Live music everybody is friendly, you feel like you've been going there forever - the first time you do. Be sure to go upstairs and check out the bands - good bands, like bands you've actually heard of, in this little intimate venue. While swiggin' on a freshly brewed wheat ale... Ahh, Life Is GOOD! Pros: nearly everything, great area to walk around and window shop too. Cons: parking is limmited, but quite available with hardly a walk more
