I was very impressed by almost all the staff at Chelsea Community Hospital. Dr. Saper was a very pleasant doctor to work with, he really seems to know his stuff and is willing to try many things to try and get results. I thought Cheryl was a wonderful NP and I'm so glad I got to work with her. Dr. Di Silva was so nice and caring. Dr. Austad was less willing to do the steroid block even though I thought the other block worked so I got a second opinion from Di Silva. I thought I would get more relief here than I did, considering they are basically the same as when I got here but like Dr. Saper said, this is just the beginning so hopefully the meds work when they have more time for my body to get used to them and when my infection is gone. I would definitely recommend this place to others because I had a wonderful experience, even though the results weren't what I was hoping for. I will continue to follow up with the MHNI clinic as long as treatment starts to help. This hospital should be very proud of the nurses, doctors, aids, room service, maids and all other staff for their great bedside manner and patient interaction. Very friendly, thorough, easy to communicate with, and caring. I met daily with a team of doctors and nurses to discuss my progress and map out a plan for my care and recovery. I truly felt that they were their for me. Outstanding care! Dan Thiel. more

I can't say enough about the kind, compassionate and professional staff at the Chelsea head pain program. My only regret is not coming back sooner. I put my complete trust and faith in Dr. Saper and his amazing staff. They did not let me down. They listened to me and developed a treatment plan, along with Dr. Shamas to treat my multi level head and neck pain. The nursing staff and NP, Cheryl were thorough and patient - making my recovery process go as smoothly as possible. After suffering for many, many years with level 4 and 5 daily head and neck pain I am so overjoyed to be leaving here today totally pain free. Everyone at Dr. Saper's was extremely concerned with my well being and pain number. I liked how a 'team' is put together to brain storm best treatment plans. I was individualized, not just a number or name on a piece of paper. The whole team, including the nurses, genuinely care. Every phase of treatment was personalized, which is so nice.
