This business does not support it's products. Once purchased, you are on your own if the product is faulty.
I purchased a HeritageStove for my sun room and had it installed in September. Several days following installation, it became apparent that the stove would not operate properly and so began the saga that has so far lasted to the moment of this writing. And, I will continue to try to get compensation or replacement for this $3,000+ item however long it takes. Michigan Fireplace has been less than supportive in resolving the problem with this stove. I have now sent a complaint about them to the better business bureau, and Michigan Fireplace manager in turn called me upon receipt of the complaint to yell at me/tell me off, rather than to make an attempt to work towards resolving the problem to my satisfaction. I agree with the other review I see here.... They offer terrible customer service, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you are savvy enough to check out reviews on this place (I wasn't) then be wise and go elsewhere for BBQ's, fireplaces, and free standing stoves.
