BEST BEAUTY SCHOOL 4/18/2010

Thank you Michigan College of Beauty for helping me to reach my lifelong dream of being a hairstylist . The teachers were great-patient and caring and incredibly talented as hairstylists. The Pivot Point method of traing was awesome and gave me confidence and skill in haircutting, color, and styling. I am so excited to start my new career! Pros: great instructors, pivot point training, warm caring staff more

I would just like to make a comment to any one complaining about the school. First of all it's a SCHOOL, the students are learning. Like anything it takes practice. Second you have to sign a piece of paper before they even will take you in. So anyone complaining about the service shame on you. You knew it was a school to begin with so be prepared for anything. If its that big of a deal go to a salon with LICENSED stylists, or maybe you just can't afford one(no offense) more

Better to go to a "expert" 4/10/2006

I went here for a haircut before because they advertised and I received a coupon in the mail, and went to get my hair cut for five dollars..Great price, and it turned out good. But coloring is another story, and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially because my hair is naturally very dark and I go blonde and light brown. My hair turned several shads of brown, and orange. The woman who was doing my hair was rough, and didn't bother to ask my opinion about what was going on, or ask for help when she didn't know what was going on. So I would strongly recommend cut only, and never color-better to leave that to an expert PROS: low prices, long hours, easy walk in appointment, great haircuts CONS: can be busy during peak seasons, not good at coloring, not experienced styl more

you get what you pay for 2/21/2006

i have gone to this school to have my hair done before. they prices are very cheap because students are doing your air. i have gotten one of my best haircuts from a girl here but she graduated and they dont keep track of where the student go to work after they leave. i would only go back to have my hair blown out or put in a roller set if i was in the area again. but like i said before, you get what you pay for and if you want an amazing job done to your hair your best bet is to go to a good salon and pay top doller. more

Pleasant Staff 11/28/2005

I have been to the Michigan College of Beauty a number of times. I go to have different services done. I have had a manicure and also had my eyebrows done. I know they offer many more services as well. They always do a great job. The price is also very reasonable. I know for the eyebrows they have certain hours so you have to call a head. more

Bad service 11/5/2005

I would't recommend this place. They did a perm on me & it took 6 hrs. for 3 girls. I only have med. length hair. I didn't like the way it turned out the next day & the instructor said too bad not all turn out the way you want. more
