I love the Ribs 4/28/2009

I live in Naples and visit Michelbob's regularly. The Ribs are excellent. The Onion Rings are best eaten at the time they arrive at the table. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is old & funky, this not a fancy place, if you want fancy, go somewhere else. Pros: Ribs Onion Rings Cons: The onion rings don't travel well. more

I enjoyed the food but nothing to rant about. Make sure you get the BBQ ribs. Also a beer is perfect with these. more

Ribs are overrated 1/12/2009

I have been anticipated this restuarant. for a while now. The ribs are ok but definitely overrated. They almost taste pre packaged or reheated. It is a fair price but you don't get much for the price. We also ordered an extra side of boneless chicken breasts for 4.59 each. They were so small (about 2 oz. each) I couldn't believe it!!! So, to sum it up it's not bad if you aren't that hungry or if you really haven't had great ribs before. Pros: good family atmoshere Cons: small portions more

Succulent, Smoky, Tender, Fall-off-Bone Ribs 12/26/2008

I was told the baby backs were great but they surpassed my expectations. We had the family feast which had some of everything and ended up ordering more ribs. The cole slaw, onion rings and beans are all made in house and taste like it. No canned or manufactured. This place is a must-do. I read about it later in a travel guide. It said they have been there 28 or 29 years. Pros: Everything I loved. The decor is so original. Rustic, antiques, collectibles etc. Cons: Wish I had one in my hometown more

The Best Ribs in Town 11/26/2008

Our family, two adults and two children, had heard about Michelbobs every time we visited Florida, but we never found the time to go there. One Saturday night, even though it was a bit of a drive, we decided to find out if Michelbobs really had great food. Let's just say it was definitely worth the drive. We had the Family Rib pack with cole slaw, baked beans and grilled garlic bread. The ribs were mouth watering! The service was prompt and pleasant, the decor was very interesting, and the bill was low. We can't wait to go again!!! Pros: The ambience is fun and relaxing. I give it a thumbs up. Cons: The only negative thing about it is that the food is so good I don't like ribs from anywhere else.. more

BBQ atmosphere, decent ribs 8/5/2005

Michelbob's is a really neat restaurant. It is decorated with old Coca-cola signs and is a great atmosphere for a bbq joint. Food is served in baskets with paper linings. The ribs were fair, but tasted reheated. The fries and slaw were good, and the onion rings were excellent. The service was prompt and friendly.
