Michaels is clean and organized despite being packed into a relatively small space for this type of place. The put out a 40% off one regular priced item in the paper and there are plenty of good sales for popular craft items too. Good selection of stickers and scrapbooking supplies. I usually come here first when I need craft items. They generally have what I need and the 40% off coupon is a huge plus. more

Craft your little heart out. 8/3/2005

Michael's has great values, great sales, excellent selection, and a fairly knowledgeable and helpful staff. The store sometimes seems messy and disorganized, and the non-sale prices can sometimes be a little steep. The store is way too small and close for the amount of stock they keep; it can be crowded - the point of claustrophobia - at times. Still, it's worth it to get what you need. PROS: plenty of parking, helpful staff, great sales CONS: regular prices, crowded. more

Large Selection of Art and Craft Supplies 7/15/2005

Michaels Arts & Crafts has a large selection of craft supplies. What I like about the store is that in its large selection it has many kits and projects where everything is included. It is easy to get to off a main road. The prices are very reasonable and they have very good sales. more

Crafter's Heaven 6/1/2005

This chain of stores seems to have everything you need for any kind of craft project you desire. It's the place to go to find ideas to keep the kids busy during the summer - my problem is I always get TOO much stuff!. They have a framing department, which is kinda spendy, but also sell the frames and mats to "do-it-yourself". The only drawback is sometimes the store seems a bit sloppy. more
