Michaels Pet World

I have bought a few different animals from here, actually a dog and a bird. They are really great. The people there were nice and helped me find just the right pets for me. They took their time and listened to my listened to my living arrangements and recommended the perfect animals for me. The store is sparse but nice. If you need a loving pet then try this store, they have some really nice pets and pet supplies. more

We were recently in the market for hamsters. The hamsters were a birthday present for my son. Rather than make the drive to Rocky Mount to PETSMART, we decided to try out Pet World. My husband and son accompanied me into the shop. I was amazed at what I saw! The shop was was not well kept and the staff didn't seem to care that customers were even in the store. We walked around and looked at the selection of animals. There were a few birds, fish, a couple of small rodents, and a snake. We were not impressed by the amount of animals, so we tried to focus on the individual quality of the animals. Overall, the animals were not very interactive and did not look well cared for. The rest of the store was filled with pet supplies and empty cages and aquariums. We ended up making the drive to Rocky Mount to purchase our hamsters! I encourage anyone looking for a healthy pet to look somewhere other than Pet World. more
