I've done a lot of framing business and incidental supply business with Micheal's in the past, as my store is in the same complex as them. No longer. Without realizing that she was my wife, Micheal's gave her the runaround on a framing job for a full month, then finally got it done, and done poorly I may add. The only reason it was done is because she was in the store and wouldn't leave until it was finished - 3 1/2 weeks after their initial promise date.
It was, unfortunately, a Mother's Day present for her aunt, and they knew it. They didn't get it done until a week after Mother's Day. Wringing her hands of the terrible experience, my wife just took it and delivered it to Ogden.
I just got off the phone with them, and they refused to give us any sort of partial refund for the trouble and the horrid looking final product.
Too bad for them, because a framing store just opened up across Highland Drive. I think they will be getting some money soon!
Cons: too many to list
