One of the few of its kind 7/24/2006

There are few stores that specialize in crafts supplies. They have a wide variety of crafts, so you can usually find what you need. The only thing I'd say is that because there is so much inventory it gets a little out of order. However, there are few stores of its kind so they have a pretty captive audience. PROS: lots of inventory CONS: a little messy more

Loads of supplies, good prices 7/21/2006

You can find just about anything you need for arts and crafts projects at Michaels. We were in last weekend and it looks like they just reorganized the store to make it a little more open, which is nice, because it can be overwhelming sometimes. It's really a self-serve place and check-out can be slow sometimes if the store is busy. But for the variety and prices, there really aren't that many other options. more

How pretty! 7/20/2006

If you need to do anything dealing with crafts this is the place to go. The staff is very knowledgable especially in the framing department. They have everything from stickers to major frame building.\r The only problem with the store is the check out. Be ready to wait awhile because service there is horrible. more

Scouts enjoyed rocket building 7/16/2006

We had a rocket building class here which was great for our Den of boys. They all had a blast building the rockets and they even recommended where we could go launch them.\r \r I seem to find some great ideas as well just looking around. Don't wait for someone to ask if you need help tough. Go track someone down and when you corner them they are more than willing to help. more

craft store 7/16/2006

If you already have your craft project in mind, it is a good place to find supplies. Don't expect to get anyone to help you. Customer service is lacking. The store is cramped and full of stuff, but the prices are cheap. more
