Chain store with all your crafting needs 5/26/2005

Michaels is similar to Hobby Lobby and AC MOORE. Prices are comparable. There are about 15 aisles filled with all types of crafting and art supplies. There are sales most weeks, and 50% coupons off one item usually. Crafts for school or to make and sell area also available. The thing that is NOT available is good customer service. I couldn't located one person to assist me and I waited in line to check out for over 35 minutes as there was only ONE cashier checking everyone out! PROS: Lots of craft supplies CONS: no staff to assist you more

Craft store that has it all. 5/26/2005

This store has aisles and aisles of crafting merchandise. From knitting to scrapbooking and everything in between. Personel is very friendly and they have classes you can sign up for and learn new crafts. Parking is plentiful. There is always a line to checkout though, not enough hired help, and sometimes locating someone for assistance on the floor can be tricky as well. Watch for Sunday Atlantic City Press for sales. PROS: Everything from soup to nuts in crafts CONS: lack of staff to assist you and checkout. more
