Michaels has so many tall aisles of cool art products it would take me months to look at everything. I first went there just to buy an art portfolio but ended up spending hours cruising up and down the aisles checking out all the fascinating stuff they had- coloring tools, decorations, fabrics, and more. I would definitely go back. more

Tons of Stuff 6/8/2005

They have a lot of variety so if you are into sewing, beading, paper crafts, painting, floral arrangements, or even cake decorating you can get supplies here. This is one of the larger Michaels in the area and I love that the departments all offer just a little more selection. When they have sales its a good time to stop by--you may end up spending more on your DIY projects than you wanted if you dont check around a bit. PROS: location, larger departments, good sales CONS: some items are pricey more

Wide Selection 3/25/2005

This Michaels store is very large and has a great variety of products. There are many items to make crafts with, however I always find, as with any Michaels store, the oil paint section lacking. I prefer to go to more specialized art stores for those items. If you're into crocheting/knitting, this is the place to go as the yarn section has a variety of yarn and colors. It also has a pretty decent section of how-to books in this field too. Don't forget to grab the 40-50% coupon from the Sunday LA Times. I like using the coupon to buy art project kits for the kids. They love them. more

Cool Stuff 3/20/2005

I love this Michaels store. I find interesting items here to decorate my home. They have a wide selection of art supplies. The prices here aren't bad at all you can find so may items at low prices. This store is pretty big and everything seems to be in place, everything looks very organized. more
