NEVER NEVER NEVER shop here. \r I will never shop here again. The customer service has never been great, but it didn't much matter to me. I can find what I need on my own and I don't require super friendly cashiers.\r But it has reached out right rude.\r The cashier may have been annoyed that the price came up wrong and I demanded the price that was displayed next to the item, so she had to void and enter each item again. For whatever reason she actually snatched my money out my hand as I was handing it to her. She snatched it and then sneered like a petulant teenager. Honestly. I was stunned. When I asked what exactly I had done to deserve to be treated so rudely she smiled a sticky sweet fake smile and told me she had no idea what I was talking about. Stunning. The manager was no help. She implied I must be wrong, that the cashier would never do that. \r NEVER SHOP HERE. more

Do not demean yourself (or your diplomas) by taking them here for framing. It's not even worth it for free. You'll just end up wasting a lot of time and gas coming back to the store after they repeatedly screw up, and you'll need to get a refund and go somewhere else anyway. Skip these steps and go to a quality framing store the first time. Cons: Worst Customer Service Experience Ever. more

Michaels Arts & Crafts is one of the largests arts and crafts store in the bay area. It has lots of good sales and I only visit it when there are those sales going on. more

Michaels has generic arts and crafts supplies for most crafting activities. I have rarely been unable to find a craft item there. It is a rather soulless store, with barely competant salespeople, flourescent overheads, and laminate flooring. There selection is not spectacular, but they have a little of everything. This store is clean and well lit. As a bonus, they also offer free and inexpensive crafting classes on a variety of subjects. A weekly/monthly schedule is posted at the front of the store. PROS: clean, good selection CONS: kind of boring more
