Dr. Maresca has been my dentist for years. He has always provided exceptional care during all kinds of procedures - from check-up's to cavity filling to root canal. He has a very nice office with state-of-the art equipment and a qualified professional & caring staff. \r \r During each visit I can count on him to listen and to take his time, always ensuring a high level of comfort. He knows how to manage pain well too and I have barely ever felt any kind of pain or during or post-treatment. \r \r His service is also unbelievable. I recently woke up at 330a to a radiating pain in my mouth and thought I would have to go to the emergency room. I called his office and left a message with the after-hours switchboard. Within 10 minutes Dr. Maresca called me and had me then come into his office a few hours later. He was able to identify the problem (I needed root canal surgery) and he begin work immediately. in this case too, there was barely any discomfort and he and his staff called me over the next few days to check up on me in case I needed anything at all. \r \r I would recommend using Dr. Maresca if you are looking for a top-notch dentist in New York. I WAS RECOMMENDED TO DR. MARESCA BY SEVERAL OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS. I RECENTLY VISITED HIM BECAUSE OF SEVERAL ABCESSES THAT HAD DEVELOPED ON MY GUMS. SINCE I AM A NEWLY-DIAGNOSED DIABETIC, I WAS SOMEWHAT CONCERNED ABOUT THE PROCEDURE AND ITS POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS. DR. MARESCA UNDERSTOOD MY CONCERNS AND PATIENTLY AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED WHAT HE WOULD BE DOING. HIS MILD MANNER AND HIS KNOWLEDGEABLE DISCUSSION WITH ME ALLEVIATED MY WORRIES. HE, AS WELL AS HIS PROFESSIONAL AND ATTENTIVE STAFF, WERE EVEN PRO-ACTIVE IN PRE-MEDICATING ME SINCE I ALSO HAVE A PROSTHESIS IN MY LEG. THE PROCEDURE WENT EXTREMELY WELL, AND THAT EVENING I RECEIVED A CALL FROM DR. MARESCA HIMSELF ASKING IF I WAS IN ANY PAIN OR HAD ANY EXCESSIVE BLEEDING. THERE WAS NO PAIN, NOR WAS THERE ANY BLEEDING.THIS IS A TESTAMENT TO BOTH HIS SKILL AND CONCERN FOR PATIENTS. I HAVE THE HIGHEST REGARD FOR DR. MARESCA AND RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT RESERVATION.
