Michael D's Cafe & Catering

Hey whats up? I just ate at Michael D's Cafe and catering, and all i can say is WOW!!!! Amazing food. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was by far the best chicken salad I have ever eaten. The service was amazing, prompt and very helpful. I was taken care of as soon as I walk through the door. I was greeted Lauren who was very helpful, she pointed me to the chicken salad sandwich. I even talked with the owner, who is there everyday make sure his customers are taken care of. He is one of the sweetest guys I ever met, and he has a passion for serving great food with the best customer service. Over all a comfortable feel, very clean and very friendly. I would not hesitate to recomend this dinner to a friend. I would (and will) drive all the way from Glendale just to see the friendly faces at Michael D' again. more

I go in at least three times a week for breakfast. Always a warm smile and good conversation. I love the biscuits and gravy ( they put sasage in the gravy) and their eggs benedict are to die for. The service and location is excellent. Aas i started comming back it became a community atmosphere, very very comfortable. Toby always takes care of me and Micheal is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. So no matter where I move in LA I will always come back to my favorite Dinner... Michael D's more

lousy service. On Monday night, October 13. Waited forever to get noticed. Waited forever for the ""busy"" server (on the phone, chit chatting, basically being worthless...) to take our order. Fake smile, no personality. I can't believe this idiot actually works in the service industry. Great way to take an incredibly cool restaurant/bowling alley and turn it into a negative experience. though this restaurant seems to be most appreciated for it's breakfast selection, the dinner entree's are really where it shines. great food with an old fashioned environment makes this a must eat place. personally, the breakfast burrito is what all others are scaled against at other restaurants, and is since unbeated. really quite the wonderful little place! :) more
