My husband and I are extremely dissatisfied with how Michael Charles has handled our wedding day photos. Our wedding was over a year ago, and Michael still hasn't fulfilled our contract. He has not met a single deadline and has gotten every order I've placed with him wrong. After our wedding, he said the proofs would be up in 6 weeks -- three months later, he finally posted them. Once we ordered pictures, he got the order wrong (and it took two shipments over 4 months to receive them). Then we ordered our photo album. Let's just say he's 3 months late on that too -- and there's no sign of him completing the project any time soon. What's more, on our wedding day, he wouldn't take simple shots (like of our wedding rings) because it wasn't his ""style."" He couldn't accomodate other requests, like having photos of our grandparents taken at our wedding. We also made the mistake of paying him in full before he delivered our pictures. Now, it's 13 months later, and we're still waiting. He won't return emails or phone calls, despite numerous attempts. I know he's widely used, but I would definitely NOT recommend him. In short, he's not personable or easy to work with and he can't complete a single project correctly.
Pros: Widely used in Tampa, knows many wedding venues
Cons: Late on orders, can't get orders right, not personable, won't accomodate special requests
