Mi Ranchito Grill

We have been going to the Mi Ranchito Restaurants for years and have to say the one in American Fork is our all time favorite. We will travel from SLC to eat there. On occasion we have gone to the Sandy location. The food was better when it first opened but now feel that it has gone down. A week ago we went with friends to the Sandy location and my husband ordered the "Special" which was a chicken quesadilla for $13.95. What he received was NOTHING worth that price. His plate looked empty. It consisted of one large tortilla filled with bits of chicken and cheese, folded over and cut 3 ways. There was a side of rice and a dab of sour cream and guacamole. Definately not worth the money. We are going to take our business to the American Fork location from now on. more

Don't be fooled, Mi Ranchito in Sandy is not of the same caliber as the Mi Ranchito restaurants found in Salt Lake and Orem. The waiters try to sell you on the buffet so they don't have to do any work. My brother ordered a vegetarian burrito and it was filled with what appeared to be a frozen stir fry mix (baby corn and all). The portions are fair but not huge. Personally, I think the food quality is only fair as well. more
