The kids and I tried this out. They are trying to hard to make this a fancy restaurant. The food was horrible. The chips were terrible. I am embarrassed that I wasted my money the...

Great margarita and neat location 4/23/2009

Have always liked Mi Cocina, they make a good margarita. I like this location because Parker Square, where it is located is neat, kind of like a more authentic and smaller version of Southlake Town Center. There are some national tenants and some local folks, it just has a good feel. I am partially to the Mi Cocina cheese enchiladas. Pros: Good Mexican food and neat area more

Best Mexican in the Flower Mound / Lewisville area 11/24/2008

We love Mi Cocina! The food is great. The #5 lunch special is my favorite. It is one chees enchilda, one beef taco, and one sour cream chicken enchilada. Their sour cream enchiladas are the best. A very consistent sour cream sauce and chunks of chicken that are very good. The atmosphere is one of the best parts of this location. It is in a town center, outdoor shopping area, where you can window shop or get errands done before or after lunch or dinner. Pros: Ambiance and food Cons: Sometimes there are short lines but usually not an issue more

Joined City Search just to comment on MiCosina. Its that bad. 11/14/2008

Gave them 1-star because 0-stars wouldn't work. Extremely poor service. Can't comment on the food, they never served me. It was like they didn't want me there. I was one of three tables, the other two had already been served. Waited 10 plus minutes and the waiter looked at me several times, but never came to take my order. Finally I left without ordering. The staff watched me walk out without speaking to me. Pros: Floor was clean Cons: Poor Service more

There was nothing authentic about it. I could have made better mexican food at home and I am not Hispanic at all! Pros: Nice and clean Cons: not good food and TOO pricey more
