I'm a dad whose kid dances here. This is my kid's home away from home which I am fine with. The studio is clean and there is room for her to study between her dance classes. The director keeps my wife and me posted on our daughter's progress and is quick to ask how things are going which shows she really cares about her students. Nice dance studio. A lovely studio instilling a great deal of appreciation for the fine performing arts. Performances are of quality, well-rounded dancers from the tiniest dancers through the advanced levels. Instruction is individual, personal and always positive and uplifting. The attention and focus is on quality rather than quantity. Staff is helpful and courteous. Students are helpful, attentive and focused. They have a progressive movement philosophy where they focus on anatomy which make sense and is invigorating to learn about. Excellent dance instruction. Focused on quality dance education. We are new to the area and my daughter wanted to continue dance. We visited 3 dance studios in the area, took three trial classes and chose this one. It was a simple decision. The instructor was highly trained, the class sizes were small, the other students were dressed from head to toe in proper dance attire, and the high ceilings and spacious dance floor made the room seem free, airy and light. My daughter now dances here 3x per week - 2 ballet classes and one dance conditioning class. We are glad to have found a very good studio where my daughter can continue her dance education. I took my 5 year old daughter to this school's production of The Nutcracker and we just loved it. I was pleasantly suprized that a single dance studio in our very own Morgan Hill was able to produce such a truly professional show. The dancing, costumes, and professional level of dance was stunning. We enjoyed Nutcracker so much that I took my daughter here for placement class and am very satisfied with the instruction and staff. This studio is wonderful. They are modest, humble and promote good values in and outside the studio's walls. I am comfortable with the well-informed staff and the instructors clearly have classical and professional backgrounds. The students in my daughter's class were so welcoming to my daughter who transferred to Morgan Hill Dance from another local studio. It all made me feel very at ease. My daughter wanted to study classical ballet and this studio offers her a complete dance program. She also takes lyrical jazz class here at Morgan Hill Dance Center and the training complements her ballet classes very well. Also, the director is great. She sent me a personal email within one week of my daughter's placement class to see how everything went and to answer any questions I had. These sorts of little things were greatly welcoming. This is a very special dance studio. They offer a complete ballet program and many other types of dance classes as well. Tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, even yoga classes are offered here. There are plenty of performance opportunities and I like renting the costumes rather than being obligated to purchase them. My daughter will dance in the Nutcracker this December and just particpated in The Seasons this past spring. Currently, my daugher dances 3 times per week (ballet, lyrical jazz and modern) and really likes her instructors. The instructors are organized and have the right combination of being friendly, yet professional. I like how the instructors know all the names of the students, their parents, and often the siblings of the students. It makes us feel important. We will continue to support this dance studio. A good friend of mine recently referred me to this studio. I was very satisifed with the family-like atmosphere and good manners the students illustrate. The staff is very good about returning emails and phone calls. I was impressed with the knowledge of my daughter's ballet instructor and her background in classical dance. I liked that class sizes were small enough to get individual attention, but large enough to have that good energy. I am also impressed that the instructor is clearly educated in anatomy and cares about injury prevention and the proper way of teaching sound ballet technique. My daughter also takes the lyrical jazz and modern dance classes here and she loves them. When she has time, she will also try toe tap class. I love my ballet teacher. I got to dance in the big Nutcracker with my friends. I liked the ballet stories and the pictures of the ballerinas. Morgan Hill Dance is such a great studio. Many of my friends dance here and we all have learned so much from our ballet instructor Miss April and modern dance instructor Miss Tyler. I danced in Nutcracker and Spring Show and enjoyed the experience a lot. My mom also volunteered to help with past productions and was so impressed with their organization and great communication from the instructors and staff Everybody is helpful, knowledgable, and very modest and humble at the same time. The instructors are all certified to teach dance, have danced professionally, and have attended college so I know I am getting a solid dance education. There is plenty of parking, a study area for us to do our homework and even a fridge to store snacks and drinks. Give them a call if you are interested in a solid dane education. Every class at Morgan Hill Dance is a good experience. I learn something new each time I attend class and go home feeling like I have accomplished something. I have made a lot of friends here and feel important to my ballet and modern dance instructor. The instructors are always willing to spend extra time reviewing with me after classes and the staff is really helpful and do a great time responding to phone calls and voicemails. I have also learned about different muscles and anatomy terms. I know about pronating and supinating and where my psoas muscles and IT band are. The instructors are very educated about the body. If taking class from an educator who is certified to teach is important to you, then this studio is right for you. If being a part of a community that is nurturing and feeling like you really are important, then this studio is right for you. My daughter took classes from all 3 in town, and this one was by far the best. Whereas the others promoted competition, this one promoted community and families values. I am a past student of many years of Morgan Hill Dance Center. I am so proud of how far they have come. For the past 30+ years this school has stayed true to what the founder's original mission was - to provide excellent classical dance instruction in a supportive environment. I have danced here for many years and enjoyed every moment of it. The instructors are certified to teach through internationally known organizations such as the Royal Academy of Dance in addition to being college educated. The environment is always positive and the staff are wonderful about returning phone calls and emails. My friends and I really enjoy dancing here and have learned about anatomy in additional to ballet and modern dance. Really good dance program! My daughter went to all three studios in town. I was not happy with the other two. I was looking for one that could actually improve her technique. Not only did her dancing improve, but her attitude improved. Juliet seems to be able to create the best dancers in town, except the dancers remain modest and uncompetitive. The shows were night and day from the other studios! All of the dancers looked professional and modest. A larger studio would be nice, but I would not trade a fancy studio for a first rate teacher.
