I was puzzled by the other review about small portions in this charming, delightfully Italian restaurant. I have been visiting for years and always tell myself not to overeat - but it's impossible. The bread is baked in-house and is crusty and hearty. I'm always attracted to the specials but hate to pass up my favorites like the summery pesto, the pasta with braciole and peas, the simple spaghetti pomodoro. And though I'm normally stuffed, I find it hard to pass up the apple cake which always tastes as if it had just come out of the oven. The owner also sings Italian classics and if you've had enough wine, you'll want to join in Volare! Bad service, overpriced and small portions. The owner served me and not once did he ask 'how is everything'. He charged me $17 for penne with butter for my kids. My kids were hungry after eating their $17 meal. Please save yourself from this place and enjoy your evening somewhere else. Pros: None Cons: Overpriced, bad service and small portions more

I have been going to Mezzogiorno's for almost a year now and everytime I go, I love it even more. The food is great and there are so many authentic Italian dishes to choose from that it is hard to pick just one. The service is great. The waiters are attentive yet give you space to enjoy your meal, not like in other places where they hound you every five minutes. On Fridays and Saturdays the musical entertainment is wonderful. I have used this restaurant for every occasion. I have used it for family parties, business meetings, guys night out, or even a night out ont he town with a female freind and it has yet to disappoint me. I recommend this place to everyone.
